We cannot control our genetics… but what we can control is what we put in our body and how we treat it. Once you learn about food, the reasons you struggle with your weight, why you have failed in the past and what could be slowing down your progress, your view of food will completely change. Food will no longer control the way you live.
Our Comprehensive Medical Weight Loss program is designed for patients who desire a non-surgical option for significant weight loss. Most of our patients may be frustrated with previous attempts to lose weight, have tried other programs or just don't know where to start. Individual treatment plans start at 16 years old. There is no age limit to wanting to learn how to eat healthy and take care of your body inside and out.
Our program is about the food we eat every day, the content of our thoughts, our metabolic health and physical fitness. Each patient will be evaluated and treated by a Board-Certified Obesity specialist, also known as a Bariatrician, a Licensed Registered Dietitian, a behavioral therapist, and a Certified Fitness Instructor.
Each patient plan is formulated to focus on individual Mind & Behavioral Awareness, Food, Nutrition & Metabolic Wellness with Exercise & Movement improvement. Your individualized plan is constantly being reevaluated and may be altered as you progress.
No matter how many times you have tried to lose weight, how you have tried or how many problems you may have along the way, there is ALWAYS something we can do to help.
During your initial consultation, a medical provider will review your health history, conduct a physical exam, and order lab tests to identify underlying issues contributing to weight gain. These might include hormone imbalances, thyroid problems, or insulin resistance. A body composition analysis will also be performed to guide your personalized treatment plan.
Weight loss medications may be prescribed if deemed appropriate by your provider, based on your health status and goals. Options include GLP-1 receptor agonists like semaglutide or tirzepatide, as well as appetite suppressants or medications targeting insulin resistance. These medications are used in combination with dietary, fitness, and behavioral strategies.
Medical Weight Loss is based on clinical evaluation and personalized care, not one-size-fits-all dieting. It addresses the root causes of weight gain, provides medical supervision, and uses evidence-based methods including lab analysis, medication, and behavioral support. Patients are guided through a structured plan with real-time adjustments as needed for lasting success.
Quarterly check-ins are required until each provider feels you are progressing well and your visits can be spaced further out. You’ll also have access to nutrition guidance, fitness recommendations, and coaching to help with mindset and habits. The goal is to create a sustainable plan and help you overcome any barriers to success.
